And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.  And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth.  They cause the grain to grow, producing see for the farmer and bread for the hungry.  It is the same with my word.  I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)

From Voice of the Martyrs Ministry–“VOM workers distributed 2,000 Bibles in rural Nepal in August, through the support of Bibles Unbound sponsors.  A pastor who oversees 13 churches was so desperate for Bibles that he traveled to the Nepali capital of Kathmandu to get secondhand Bibles from several churches there.  Only 35 of the more than 600 believers in his churches owned Bibles.  While in Kathmandu, he learned of the VOM Bible program and submitted the names of 634 believers who needed Bibles.  He was amazed when he learned that he did not have to pay for the Bibles.  In Nepal, converts to Christianity from Hinduism or Buddhism become social outcasts, and some are even beaten.  Proselytism is not allowed, and those found guilty are subject to three years in prison.  Three months after the pastor requested the Bibles, a VOM team delivered them to his village.  ‘I still remember the day when I was searching for who could provide us used Bibles,’ the pastor wrote.  ‘But now we all have very new…Bibles.  This is not only a blessing; this is our God’s plan to have Bibles for us.’  The pastor old us his church reserves time each week to pray that the Bibles Unbound program will bless many other believers. (Voice of The Martyrs Newsletter, November 2012, ‘Bible Blessings In Nepal’)

While these Bibles were delivered in 2012, Bibles are actively being delivered all over the world, in the native languages of the people they are being produced for.  The Bibles Unbound program is a program that produces Bibles for people who have asked for them.

Projects are currently ongoing for Christians in Nigeria, China and India.  These people cannot afford their own Bible or cannot access one altogether, but they worship Jesus and desire to know Him more and more.  We have a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on their lives and an indirect impact on everyone they share the truth of Jesus Christ with.

These are NOT people who may or may not treat their Bible as some informative pamphlet, maybe reading it, maybe throwing it away.  These people want their own Bible and have asked for help to get one.

If this excites you, please visit http://www.biblesunbound.com/qry/mc_home.taf to sponsor ongoing Bibles to various projects.

Or, you can make a One-Time contribution to get the Holy Bible to someone who desperately needs and wants one.  Just go here:  https://secure.persecution.com/p-418-bibles-to-captive-nations.aspx

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.  As the Scriptures tell us, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.’  Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect.  They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him.  For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’  But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him?  And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?  And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?  And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?  That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!'” (Romans 10:9-15)

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

For the word of God is alive and powerful.  It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.  It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.  Nothing in all creation is hidden from God.  Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.” (Hebrews 4:12-13)

The Voice of The Martyrs is a ministry dedicated to serving our persecuted Christian family throughout the world.  In all nations, the most common two requests VOM receives is “Please pray for us” and “Please send Bibles!”

Voice of The Martyrs uses their resources to print Bibles in hostile and restricted nations where persecuted Christians desperately need God’s Living Word, both for the renewing of their own mind and so that they can share His word with others.

VOM offers two opportunities to be part of this work:

1) Bibles To Captive Nations — through this opportunity, you can be involved from time to time as a “One-Time” contributor and VOM will use your contribution to print Bibles and distribute them where they are most needed.   https://secure.persecution.com/p-418-bibles-to-captive-nations.aspx

2) Bibles Unbound — this opportunity is more detail oriented, as you set up your Bibles Unbound homepage, which begins as a blank world map.  You choose which country/operation you wish to contribute to and set up an Ongoing Contribution that VOM can rely upon as a recurring contribution to their Bible Distribution efforts.  Each restricted/hostile country you send Bibles to will be marked on your map.  You have control over which projects you’re funding.  Once you have your homepage set up, you also have the opportunity to make additional One-Time contributions as you want to.  http://www.biblesunbound.com/qry/mc_home.taf

We live in unprecedented times, with resources and opportunities no generation before us has had.  We have the power to literally reach the whole world with the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ.  There are many ways to use our life to fulfill the Great Commission our Lord has entrusted to us and the two opportunities VOM offers are an amazing way to be involved and fruitful in God’s Kingdom, if you have been looking for new ways to help.

And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all people will hear it; and then the end will come.”  (Matthew 24:14)

“He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few.  So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.‘” (Matthew 9:37-38)

Below is a list of some nations that are in desperate need of prayer.  Please consider praying for these nations and ask the Holy Spirit of God to guide you.  Without a doubt, if the workers of the fields are few, then those praying for the workers are even fewer.

If you decide to pray, please establish a length of time for yourself that is acceptable to you and commit to praying for these people (not the duration of the prayer itself, as the Lord taught us not to babble on); commit to a week or a month, etc of praying daily for these unreached people groups.

–Afghanistan, 71 unreached people groups

–Bhutan, 32 unreached people groups

–China, 465 unreached people groups

–India, 2,200 unreached people groups

–Iraq, 21 unreached people groups

–Libya, 140 unreached tribes and clans

–Oman, 25 unreached people groups

–Sudan, 137 unreached people groups

–Vietnam, 63 unreached people groups

Some things to pray for in Jesus’ Name:

–For God to send more workers into his fields, specifically into the fields of the countries listed above, and that God’s Word will reach those who seek Him.  Pray for God’s Kingdom to come soon.

–For God to destroy the works of Satan in the hearts and minds of the people and the land and that God would not let them yield to temptation, but deliver them from the evil one.

–For Judgment on Satan.  Ask God to curse Satan afresh as he did in the Garden of Eden, so that he cannot do as he pleases.  Ask God to place Satan again under the power of the cross so as to immobilize him.

–For God to break the evil spirits of false religions and idols in these lands (Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism are all hostile to the truth of Christ) and set up His Kingdom.

–For the precious blood of Jesus to answer whatever comes from Satan in these places.

–For the hearts and minds of the people to be prepared by the Holy Spirit and made able to receive and accept the truth of Christ.

–For God’s will to be done and that the truth of the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ brings light to the dark land.  Declare that Christ disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities and shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. (Colossians 2:13-15)

–For the protection of the workers the Lord sends and that they will boldly proclaim the truth of Christ and salvation

–For church planting and growth so that believers can fellowship with each other and pray together for their nation.  For a spirit of evangelism among the local Christian population so that they will desire to share their testimony with others

–For Bible distribution and Christian literature, and for trained pastors to shepherd and minister to the new believers.

–Pray also for the protection of yourself (health, mind, time, spiritual life), your loved ones and your household and anything else that God brings to your attention. Pray that God forbid Satan from harassing you in any way.  Pray Daily for this protection, as what you are doing for God’s Kingdom through your prayers directly destroys Satan’s kingdom and you will be targeted by the rulers and authorities of the spiritual realm in retaliation for your work. Be ready. Prayerfully seek God in this matter.

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.  All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goatsHe will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.  For I was hungry, and you fed me.  I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.  I was naked, and you gave me clothing.  I was sick, and you cared for me.  I was in prison, and you visited me.’ Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?  Or a stranger and show you hospitality?  Or naked and give you clothing?  When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’  Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.  For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me.  I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home.  I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing.  I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’  Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’  And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’  And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”  (Matthew 25:31-46)

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself.  Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.” (Hebrews 13:3)

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Prison is a place where people are often forgotten.  The people behind prison bars, especially in America, have often done things so atrocious they have been justly judged as unfit for society. They are considered dangerous, often exhibiting extreme or perverted ideals, views, and behavior, and have been convicted of stealing, killing and destroying.

Angry, fearful, proud, jealous, murderous hearts and minds are the most opportune breeding ground for extremist ideals, especially ideals that take advantage of these weaknesses so that the criminal can be manipulated and encouraged to steal, kill and destroy again in the name of something bigger than himself.

Radical Islamists are recruiting angry, fearful, proud, jealous, murderous men from America’s prisons.  The radical Islamists are visiting these men in prison, letting them know they are not forgotten, that Allah remembers them and they can please Allah and redeem themselves of their sins by doing work for Allah.  The prisoners, needing purpose in their lives, are eager to be embraced, praised and loved.  How amazed are they then, that they can belong to something that embraces the monster inside them and nurtures it to make it more monstrous.  That is what they are offered, and to the lost, it is too appealing to turn down.

The wide, easy road is the road where the prisoner can walk, fostering the very behavior that made him a criminal in the first place.  Radical Islam welcomes the prisoner as the destroyer that he is and offers to mold him into an even more destructive human being in the name of Allah.  When the prisoner makes parole, he goes to any of the 17 known Islamic warfare training camps in America where he is further indoctrinated in hatred and anger until he is finally given his command to act again, this time not as a street gang member or otherwise deviant person, but as an Islamic terrorist.

He is deceived into waging war against flesh and blood, wasting his life on earth, consumed with hatred.  Doomed.

But Christians know the true battle is not against flesh and blood.  The true battle is unseen because it is not occurring in the temporary physical realm, but the eternal spiritual one.  It is fought with weapons of faith, righteousness, truth, love, peace, salvation, and the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit.  What a stark contrast to the radical Islamic ways of intimidation, manipulation, false testimonies, suicide bombers, mass murder, terror, fear, and hatred.

One is light.  One is darkness. The prisoners will ultimately make their own decision as to which road they will follow, as all of us do.  But if we are not answering the Radical Islam prison visitations with Christian visitations that present them with the truth of the Good News of Jesus Christ and His way, we are failing them.  And God has made it clear in His Holy Word that we are not to forget those in prison, but to remember them and visit them.  Their eternal lives are at stake.  Their impact on other people’s lives is also at stake.

PRAY for the forgotten.  Pray for the men and women in prison, that God would make them able to receive the truth and discern the lie.  Pray that the Lord will call on people to visit those in prison and that those called upon to visit will answer with an emphatic ‘Yes!’  Pray that the truth that “ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” is a concept that the troubled and hurting hearts in prison can accept; that they will understand and accept that their sins, too, are covered by the blood of the Holy Lamb of God Almighty, Jesus Christ; He has already atoned for their sins.  They need only believe.

The Most High God answers fear with peace.  He answers hatred with love.  He answers death with life.  Any other message is false and the responsibility is ours to present the truth to the lost.
